The IKSDP Centre in Nyandiwa periodically hosts researchers and health professionals for the study and fight against malaria as part of the African continent’s ambitious program which has the goal of eliminating the disease by 2030. In Kenya, the “Malaria Free” project Kenya” is carried out in collaboration between Kenyan and Japanese universities and the Kenyan Ministry of Health. It is funded by the Japanese government and other international sponsors. The results obtained so far are encouraging.
